Error "undefined binding" in Tableau Extract update Issue This issue occurs when there is a join between two or more tables for the extract and it also displays red exclamation mark on the join. Undefined binding Unable to create extract Resolution Try one of the following workarounds: Go to the Datsource tab and click on the the Right click on the table s join in the connection pane. Select Remove Drag the tables from connection again and select the join columns and join type. Set up the cross-database join between just two tables on the Data Source tab. Click on the tab for Sheet 1 to create the initial extract. After the extract has been created, go back to the Data Source tab to add the third table if you would like to add to the join. Cause The issue I faced was due to join condition was not finding the columns used in the join. by deleting and recreating the joins for the existing extract it worked.
