Tableau print to PDF fit to page

Tableau Print to PDF fit to page settings Sometimes Tableau PDF layout looks small compared to dashboard size displayed on the workbook. This is due to not setting the Page Setup Options correctly. The options are under File -> Page Setup 1. Go to File menu and select Page Setup 2. Under the 'Print Scaling tab, either set Scale to 50% or whatever the percentage best fits your dashboard on PDF by few trials. Or, select Fit to no more than the pages across and down. 3. Click on OK and go to File -> Print to PDF 4. Steps are as shown in the screen shots below. You can adjust the margins under the general tab or try to go to File Print to PDF, the select the paper size as Unspecified.

Tableau Line Chart show the points/marks without adding a label

Tableau Line Chart show the points/marks without adding a label Somehow Tableau did a very bad job in placing this option. You may not explore it until you find this. Follow the steps below to enable the marks/points in Line Chart: 1. Go to the sheet where the line chart/graph is designed. 2. Go to the color pane option in the Marks card. 3. Under effects select the Middle Line in Markers type listed as highlighted in the screenshot. 4. While this adds a the markers to the Line chat but you do not have much control on the size of the markers. While the above solves the issue of showing the markers, if you want have the control over the size of the markers: 1.  Add a second chart with just or you can change the shape to any shape you like to display in place of markers in case you want to be more creative, then select dual axis, 2. Here you get the control over the size and shape of the dots/shapes markers..
