Dynamic Top N parameter in Tableau

Create a Dynamic Top N parameter in Tableau Use the Sample - Superstore data source and follow these steps:   Drag " Manufacturer  "to the Rows shelf. Drag " Sales"  to the Columns shelf. In the  Data  pane, click the drop down to the right of  Dimensions  and select  Create Parameter . Name the Parameter (in this case " Top N" ) as shown below.           To the right of  Allowable  values:, in the  Create Parameter  window, select  Range . Under  Range of values , specify the  Minimum, Maximum, and Step size  desired. Click  OK. Right click on " Manufacturer " in the Rows shelf and select  Edit Filter . Navigate to the  Top  tab in the Filter window as shown below:      Select  By field : In the second drop down field to the left of  "by",  select  "Top N" Ensure that the field to filter by (usually a measure) is specified, in case "Sales" as "Sum". Create a dual axis map in Tableau

 Create a dual axis map in Tableau From the Data pane, drag  Longitude (generated)  to the  Columns  shelf and place it to the right of the first Longitude field. The view updates with two identical maps. There are now three tabs on the Marks card: one for each map view, and one for both views (All). You can use these to control the visual detail of the map views. The top Longitude tab corresponds to the map on the left of the view, and the bottom Longitude tab corresponds to the map on the right of the view. On the Marks card, select the top  Longitude (generated)  tab. From Measures, drag  Sales  to  Color on the top Longitude (generated) Marks card. The map on the left updates. On the top Longitude (generated) Marks card, click the  +  icon on the  Country  field to drill back down to the State level of detail.
