Tableau  Error "The load was not able to complete successfully." Opening Workbook According to Tableau this issue occurs due to the  Permissions are preventing Tableau from creating necessary temporary folders, and this error will be logged in  the log.txt: GenerateTempDirectory: failed to create subdirectory in 'C:\Users\user>\AppData\Local\Temp\TableauTemp' Tableau's Resolution Work with your IT team to grant your user account appropriate permissions to the subdirectory specified in the error log.  My Resolution This issue occurred to me when I was trying to open Tableau Hyper workbook with 10.5 version which doesn't support opening the Workbooks created with the version Tableau 2019. So I had to uninstall Tableau 10.5 and made Tableau 2019 as default application to open Tableau, and the issue never occurred.
