Tableau Line Chart show the points/marks without adding a label

Somehow Tableau did a very bad job in placing this option.

You may not explore it until you find this.

Follow the steps below to enable the marks/points in Line Chart:

1. Go to the sheet where the line chart/graph is designed.

2. Go to the color pane option in the Marks card.

3. Under effects select the Middle Line in Markers type listed as highlighted in the screenshot.

4. While this adds a the markers to the Line chat but you do not have much control on the size of the markers.

While the above solves the issue of showing the markers, if you want have the control over the size of the markers:

1. Add a second chart with just or you can change the shape to any shape you like to display in place of markers in case you want to be more creative, then select dual axis,

2. Here you get the control over the size and shape of the dots/shapes markers..
